Today I'm totally out...but..I've a thought for Chii-chan (

So... I am here today to introduce a finnish rock band:

UNIKLUBI

Biography:

Uniklubi (the finnish for Dream Club) is a finnish rock band which singing in its originary language.
Born in 1999 under the name Pincenez they started to play in night clubs an year after and
recorded a indie demo in english language.
So in 2001 they kept the attention of Lumbago/Universal that sign up the band.

In 2003 Uniklubi recorded their first album Rakkautta Ja Piikkilankaa (Love & Razorblade) but the
drummer quit, so Antti Matikainen join the band.In the May, 21 od 2004 they release first album
and it shot into the Finnish Top Five. THen the album reached platinum in Finland solding more than 30,000 copies.
The title track soon became 2004's most requested track on YleX
(Finland's biggest radio station), and Uniklubi went on to win an Emma for Best New Band.

At November,2 of 2005 was released the second album, Kehä (Circle)that entered the charts at number one.
It stayed in the charts for over 5 months in the Top20 .
The band won a couple more awards that year: the music video for Huomenna snagged an EMMA for Best Video,
and Uniklubi were given a Panda-Femma award for best makeup.
First single of the album Kaikki Mitä Mä Annoin (All that I gave) entered the charts at number one.
The second single, Kiertää Kehää (In Orbit) entered the charts at number ten.

In Summer 2006 the band had to cancel its first tour out of Finland in cause Jussi lost his voice for
a bump on his vocal cords. He got a surgery so the band re-started to play during December.

In the 2007 Uniklubi recorded the third album, Luotisade (bullet Rain) which was released the August, 22
preceded in My by the single Vnus.

On September, 17 of 2008 Uniklubi released its first Best Of: Kaikki mitä mä annoin 2003–2008
that contains the new track Rakkaudesta hulluuteen (Love Madness) and their first photobook
by the finnish photograph Jarkko Tiitinen.Then they quit with Universal and sign for
Sony Music, under that recorded the fourth album, Syvään valoon (In the deep of light) which is
realized the March , 4 of 2009. From this album they extract two singles: Polje (Box) and Kukka (Flower).

OnSeptember 22, of 2010, after much gig played with an orchestral band, Uniklubi release their fifth and last album: Kultakalat (Goldfishes)
produced by Jyrki Tuovinen, Lordi and Apulanta's producer before. The album entered the YLEX's charts at number one for 5 weeks
and the two single Aikasi On Nyt(Now it's Your Time) and Maailma Puhaltaa(The World Isn't Lovely) dominated the charts.
and started for the album tour. Then the band started for a tour since August 2011.

Now they take a little break in that had some separate experiences:
Jussi play in an own band called Jussi Selo & Nefernefernefer
Teemu and Antti play in a project-band called Jupiter with Antti Anatomy (Negative) and Paavo Pekkonen (Bloodpit).
The band let we know that on 2012 will record their new album.

Note:
Jussi Selo in 2002 played the lead role for the movie Perhöshakki and act in Bloodpit Music Video
of Wise Men Don't Cry starring Antti Anatomy (Negative) .
Jussi also sung for finnish band Lovex, and gived backing vocals for finnish band Negative and Sisu.
Janne previously sung for finnish band Bitch So Sweet and replace Entwine's guitarist for some gigs.

e.MU's Biography continuing:

On May 31 e.MU released the second official single : Summer Day's Drive but it reached only the twenty-eighth place. In the next month e.MU are hired by JOQR issuer to conduct the radio program WOO Shinnosuke Furumoto Parasuka, during which, on June 28, will be announced the release of their first album,called FORCE of FIFTH . The album reached the thirty-fifth place Oricon, and was followed with the FORCE of FIFTH Tour that will feature them in Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, Niigata, Sendai,Sapporo, Hakodate and Tokyo. After it, they was assigned to keep an entire radio channel from the Hokkaido G-AIR FM, called e.MU No Gattsu ! Radio.

Faith, the third single comes out on November 29, with its PV and gain the forty-fifth and tenth place.

On 31st of December the band playing live in the program "Live Countdown Cafe Psyencethe 2000 Adios," which opens the way for E.mu Special Live 2001 LiveFree, You Too!. In spring e.MU will open Racer X's (Californian heavy metal band) Japanese gigs of the WHISKY A GO GO Tour, and at summer they will follow them in Los Angeles.

In Autumn e.MU came back to Japan, and they started the first of three tours that will keep them busy for all the next year, until the spring of 2002 when they keep part in various television and live events.

Between May and June of 2002 the band made a promotional tour for their new album release, but, for reasons unclear, that short tour is only followed by the release of the fourth single, Will / Didn't Say (in July) and of the fifth single, Another Way / Ai no katachi (in October).

The band takes also part in new live performances, and at Another Way Tour which will keep them engaged until January of the following year, when they, although exhausted, will start for the national tour called 2003 Tour to promote the sixth single, Sakura, which will be released on March 26.

With the tour's end, on April 3, band's problems and weariness get out, driving to extreme choice, so in the July 18 e.MU had a live gig, during which they announce their final disbanding . The gig is enclosed in a DVD titled e.MU. LAST LIVE.

Note:

After e.Mu disbanding, the guitarist Daisuke joined ACID(Alternative Rock Band) and following their disbanding in 2009, he founded Needless Lyrics (J-Rock Band) along with e.MU former vocalist Mizuki , ACID former bassist Amari Yuta and ACID former drummer Seiichiro Hayakawa.

Someone says they are disbanded in the end of January 2011.

So I take the chance for talk 'bout a J-rock band I love from much years.

Biography:

e.MU are a japanese band born on April of 1998 in Hakodate.

At 25th of September 1998 they released their first indie single: Heart and to try to publicize it they played in

nightclubs of Sapporo, Hakodate, Niigata, Tokyo, living in the seedy suburbs of the cities, because they get no money to pay for more.

On January 21, 1999 the band released their second indie single, Message.

Exactly a month after, during a performance in front of 350 people, the guys are noticed by a producer who convinces them to move permanently to Tokyo for hardly playing live .So, in October of that year, the band started for the first national tour, called Promise Tour that will stop in various cities such as Sapporo, Hakodate,Niigata, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Sendai, Urawa, Maebashi, Yokohama,Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo.

Back from tour with a good group of fans, the guys are hired to play the songs of a fictitious band present in the adapted anime from manga Kaikan Phrase. So in the April, 19 was released their debut single, Love Around which enshrines their success, finishing in fourteenth place in the Oricon charts, in the first day of broadcast. Meanwhile the band held a radio show called OBC Bunbunrikuesuto on Radio Osaka and setted off for the Core Fighter Tour that will land in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo and Hakodate.
